Wall Sculptures

Selection of wall sculptures made in recent years; the common themes of these works are urban space, pollution, nature and decay of the urban environment. Most of the objects were created by reusing materials found on the street. Recycling is important to me and the way I realize my art. By working with materials from the streets, I collect the memory of those places. This way, I tell the stories of the urban space more authentically and with greater ease. Public spaces are an important asset to our cities. They provide people with many opportunities to come together and engage with the community. Public spaces have long been considered places of exchange, ever since the Greek Agoras and the Roman Forums, where men came together and discussed matters of the state. In my art, I use materials that at first use appear to be trivial, and somehow take us back to the formalism of the 1960s, but that, gradually, remind us of the oppressive reality.
